SEYLs Lacrosse Summer Team

We are thrilled to announce an incredible summer lacrosse opportunity for U12 and U14 players in 2025! Our program is designed to extend the lacrosse season with competitive play, skill development, and a lot of fun. Here's what we have planned:


Program Overview

Teams: U12 and U14, each with 20 players.
Tournaments:
Summer Showdown – July 12-13, 2025, in St. Joseph, MI
Rip the Wave – July 19-20, 2025, in Edwardsburg, MI

Practices:
Starting the week of June 9 and concluding the week of July 14.
Held on Mondays and Wednesdays at St. Charles Parish, Monroe, MI.
A total of up to 12 practices to hone skills and build team chemistry.

Coaching Team:
Core coaches: Ethan Judd, Cole Stotler, Ryan Wedemeier (Monroe), Garrett Weaver (Bedford), Andrew Yanna (Downriver).
Guest coaches throughout the summer to enhance the program.


Tryout Information

We’re looking for skilled players with a strong lacrosse IQ to join this exciting program. Tryouts are open to all U12 and U14 players within our conference.

Location: St. Charles Parish, Monroe, MI.
Date/Time Fri April 11 (5-6:30), Sat April 12 (12N-2:00)
Details: Coaches are encouraged to recommend 3-5 players. We will also accept players' outside recommendations through tryouts.
Tryout Fee:  Please note that there will be a $40 charge for tryouts to help cover associated costs. As part of this fee, all players who attend tryouts will also receive a practice pinnie (jersey) to use during the program.  

Player Registration
The registration fee is estimated at $500-$600 and includes:
Participation in two tournaments (minimum of eight games).
Up to 12 practices.
A two-piece uniform.
Coverage for coaches’ travel expenses (gas, food, and hotel) and a small stipend for their time and expertise.
We are finalizing a detailed program summary and will share it with you soon. In the meantime, we need your help spreading the word! Please share this opportunity with players and families who would benefit from extending their lacrosse season. Your recommendations of players with strong skills and lacrosse IQ are invaluable.
